Ex SAS Regiment member, Bruce Holt and other members of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Cowra met with the Warriors to give them a cheque for $2000.
"We support what these men are doing because us Vietnam Veterans share an experience and bond of war," Mr Holt said.
Organiser, Audie Moldre accepted the cheque. Mr Moldre was also in the SAS regiment in Vietnam and said he is proud to be walking to raise money for the causes that the Weekend Warriors support.
"The SAS regiment is known for being tough, and for doing the things that are the most mentally, physically and emotionally demanding.
"So as sixty something year olds we thought that this, walking great distances was a good way to raise money and awareness for our cause," Mr Moldre said.
The Wandering Warriors will split all money raised on the walk between a number of charities. These charities each help different parts of the community.
"The money does not go towards us," Mr Moldre said.
"It goes to support the whole community.
One of the charities, the White Cloud Foundation, helps support people with depression in the community.
Mr Moldre says that he does not have a donation target, however he would like to be able to get six figures for the organisations the warriors support.
"Any donations we receive are good," he said.
The group of eight walkers, have walked the thousand odd kilometres to Cowra. Today they will keep going through to Canberra, hoping to arrive by lunchtime.
Parachuters will soar over the war memorial at a service to celebrate the end of the Wandering Warriors journey.
