How many members do you have?
Probably about 15, 20.
What's been your toughest fire?
Back in 1985 there was a major fire in forestry started by lightning, just above Wyangala Dam.
It burnt approximately 15,000 acres or forest country.
It was very awkward, rugged terrain and we had to contain it with containment lines and backburning.
Why do you volunteer?
Because I'm a property owner.
It's just how you look after your property, rural scenery so it doesn't get burnt out.
You stay to help other people's property.
What does your community mean to you?
Quite a lot. Being local most people have lived here all their lives.
Growing up with the community, it's a part of your family.
