The team of volunteers and the Green's staff having done a marvellous job clearing away the large trees that were storm damaged and had fallen in the previous week.
There were only three players, from a field of 39, able to beat their handicap in the Veterans event.
Alfonso Melisi played exceptional golf for the nine hole event.
With 22 Stableford Points he was the clear winner, followed by John Van Huizen with 20 points, and David Gouge with 19.

Cowra Pro Comp - 18 Hole Stableford Event
The Cowra Golf Club's Golf Professional, Tom Perfect's, 18 Hole Stableford Competition, is open to all ages and run concurrently with the Veterans event, with players competing on their official GOLFLINK handicaps.
It is pleasing to see lady golfers competing in the field of 43 for this event with Cheryl McKeown taking second place just one point in arrears of the days winner Mark Rush.
