The Cowra Veterans Stableford event was strongly supported on Thursday, December 16 with 42 entrants, playing nine holes from the 10th tee.
The winner on the day was Don Rocavert on a countback from Bob D'elboux when both players scored 20 points. In third place was Col Neilsen who went to win the pro competition 18 hole event.
There was also some impressive play by Jeff Macpherson when he took second place in the Pro Comp, both Jeff Macpherson and Col Neilsen were playing off veteran handicaps three less than their GOLFLINK handicap.
James Paton played brilliant golf on the long uphill par four fourth hole, to hole out, for an eagle two.

There were 10 prize winners who are listed with their stableford score and the 18 hole handicap they played off in brackets.

The prize winners will have their Veteran's handicap reduced by three shots, other entrants will have their handicap increased by one shot.
COWRA PRO COMP- 18 HOLE STABLEFORD EVENT:
The Cowra Golf Club's Golf Professional, Tom Perfect's, 18 hole stableford competition, open to all ages and run concurrently with the Veterans events. There were 41 starters, with the results listed:
1st Col Neilsen 38 stableford points.
2nd Jeff Macpherson 37.
3rd Steve Johnstone 37.
4th Patrick Edenborough 37*.
*A visitor from Twin Creeks GC.
