What was the reason behind this?
One in five people experience symptoms of mental illness every year. That's more than five million Australians.
Unfortunately, more than half don't seek help.
Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them, so the Cowra Real Estate team put on their running shoes and were committed to making a difference.

For the month of October, Cowra Real Estate were able to raise a total of $5,554 and walked a huge 798kms collectively.
Cowra Real Estate Principal Lyn Sharkey said "we were able to work together and raise funds for life changing research into the detection, treatment and prevention of mental illness, as well as vital support services".
"I could not be prouder of my team and what they achieved during the campaign alongside the ongoing support of our local community, it was an absolutely amazing result," she said.
The Cowra Real Estate team would like to extend their deepest thanks to everyone who supported them during October and donated to their campaign to help raise funds for the Black Dog Institute.
This will help put life-saving mental health support tools in the hands of those who need them most.
When you raise funds for research, education, and innovation, you're joining a movement of people who share a vision for a mentally healthier world.
