Following an announcement from Netball NSW, all netball activity has ceased, with the organisation looking to provide an update on April 15 or earlier should circumstances change. "
"This includes all levels, from Club to Premier League," Louise Sullivan, President of Netball NSW and Carolyn Campbell, CEO of Netball NSW, said in a joint statement.
"In order to ensure that the netball community is acting with the highest level of social responsibility, there is no other option than to adhere to the health advice.

"Accordingly, Netball NSW provides guidance to all Clubs and Associations to stop all formal netball activity from this point forward until such time as the Government restrictions are modified to allow those activities to occur.
"This includes all types of training and all gatherings of players and umpires."
As a result, the annual Cowra Carnival has been cancelled this year.
An umpiring clinic has also been postponed to a later date.
At this stage, there may be no impact to the upcoming Saturday competition, however Cowra Netball Association have asked players of all ages not to register.
