Hosted by the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre (CINC), ladies were treated to a meditation session, led by Robyn Lynch of The Perfect Health Centre and afternoon tea at the Cowra Japanese Garden.
CINC CEO Fran Stead said the success of last year's event saw the organisation keen to hold it once again.
"We would normally mix things up for International Women's Day, but last year was such a hit and so many people were asking were we having Robyn back again," she said.

"So we decided to go with the same thing and we hope everyone enjoys it as much as they did last year."
She called for more unity in the light of recent events.
"I think over the last week, I've witnessed so many things of women tearing one another down," Fran said.
"I think we will never ever get that equality while we're doing that.
"We should be building each other up, we shouldn't be tearing one another down."
Robyn congratulated CINC for once again hosting their event.
"It's so great that they take the time because these days go past and we don't recognise them, we don't acknowledge them," he said.
"It's important that we start to change the way we think about things."
She gave a brief history of IWD before her meditation session.
"We need women now to not only bring the healing energy of love and compassion into our world, but also the energy of change," she said.
