Art students from Canowindra, Cowra, Dubbo, Young, Grenfell and Parkes will have their work exhibited in the 2019 upstART regional exhibition which opens in Cowra on Saturday.

Cowra mayor Bill West will open the exhibition at 2.30pm on November 23 when the section winners to be announced.
The 2019 upstART exhibition includes an impressive showcase of painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture by over 60 students in years 10, 11 and 12 from eight high schools in the region.
The participating schools are Canowindra High School, Cowra High School, Dubbo School of Distance Education, Hennessy Catholic College, The Henry Lawson High School, Parkes High School, St Raphael's Catholic School and Young High School.
UpstART is presented with the tremendous assistance of the art teachers from the participating schools.
It is also supported by Eckersley's Art & Craft and many local businesses and community groups.
These are Webster Optometrists, The Vineyard Motel, Yellow House Cowra, LT 131 Pizza, The Friends of the Gallery, The Cowra Art Group and private donor Mrs Margaret Henley from Cowra.
The 2019 upstART awards judge is Madeline Young, Director - The Corner Store Gallery, Orange.
UpstART is a must-see exhibition.
Cowra gallery director Brian Langer said the exhibition celebrates the achievements and creativity of the young artists from the region, and is a unique opportunity for them to display their artwork in a leading public gallery.
Admission is free.
