The Wagga teenager was part of the Australia A tour to England and continues to progress her all-round game.
She's looking to build on her latest international experience with Sydney Thunder and NSW Breakers this season.
"It was phenomenal and such an incredible experience to go over there for a whole month and play England's first team and their second team in a couple of matches," Trenaman said.
"It was great to play alongside some of the greatest players in our country too.
"It really developed my skill set a lot."
Trenaman has signed a two-year extension with Women's Big Bash side Sydney Thunder
She first joined the club as a rookie four seasons ago, before making her debut last year.
Trenaman had no hesitations in recommitting to the club.
"The opportunity they've afforded me I couldn't say no," she said.
"It's such a competitive club and a club with some amazing players and coaches who will hopefully help me develop my career further."
Trenaman admitted their last-ball finals exit was a heartbreaker and she's looking to help the side go one better this time around.
Combined with her all cricket commitments, the 18-year-old also has HSC exams on the horizon.
The Kooringal High student is still unsure how she will approach it, but it's just part of her juggling act.
"It's getting to the pointy end of things wrapping up in about six or seven weeks now and cricket season has already started," Trenaman said.
"It is a bit difficult but it's only a tiny portion of your life so you've got to grind and reap the rewards later on."
The Breakers got their season under way with a six-wicket win over South Australia on Sunday.
Trenaman snared two wickets and made 24 runs in a good start to the domestic season.
The side is usually laden with some of Australia's best but it was a young side who took to the field at Karen Rolton Oval.
Hay's Jodie Hicks was named in the squad as she closes in on her WNCL debut and Trenaman is looking forward to the chance to see more Riverina talent progress in the domestic competition.
"Jods is a fantastic person and a great individual to have around the group," she said.
"She's always got a smile on her face, carries people with her personality and is always so bubbly and makes people laugh.
"To reward her for all her hard work over the pre-season is a credit to her."
Sydney Thunder will open the first standalone WBBL season with a televised blockbuster against the Sydney Sixers under lights at North Sydney Oval on October 18.
