Kiama triumphed 28-14 at Wollongong's Collegians Sporting Complex against the Jamberoo Superoos, and while Nobes was once running down the wings of Sid Kallas Oval, he played as a second rower in the victory.
It was a match of two halves, with Kiama's first half dominance - despite Jambaroo scoring first - ultimately paving the way for the win, with scores 24-4 Kiama's way at half time.
A 30 metre run from Nobes, where he broke through more than one tackle before the ball was taken over for Kiama's first score for the afternoon, was crucial in initiating the first half onslaught.
While the Superoos fought back in the second half, it ultimately wasn't enough as the Knights won by 14 points.
The sons of famous footballer Steve Morris, Matt and Dylan, also featured for Kiama in the victory.
