The Cowra veterans' Stableford competition on Thursday, September 12, 2019 had a field of 33, who all enjoyed the pleasant playing conditions.

The fairways have firmed up in the drier weather and golf balls ran further than usual and as a result all the prize winners came in with excellent scores.
A score two points better than the allocated handicap was necessary to win a prize, a testament to the level of the competition at last the event.
John Van HUIZEN was the star performer with 23 Stableford points. Followed by Ross SKENE with 22 points.
In all there were 12 prize winners who are listed with their Stableford Score and the 18 Hole Handicap they played off in brackets.

The prize winners will have their handicap reduced by three for future veteran events.
Players who score 16 Stableford points or less, and were not prize winners, will have their handicap increased by two for veterans' events.
