The result takes the Under 12s to third on the ladder and on equal points as the Cyms Gold side, giving them plenty to play for in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the equation was reversed for the under 13s, who lost 28-0 to the Bloomfield side in their home match in a result that will make it a bit tricky for them to break into the top five.
Meanwhile, results have yet to be released - at the time of print - from this week's under 14s match, which promised a fantastic contest between the respective second and third placed Magpies and Mudgee Dragons.
The under 15s, by contrast had a tougher time of it on the road against Cyms, who won 14-6 in a result that gets the Orange-based team one step closer to taking the Magpies' current hold on second place away from them.
Cowra's under 16s continue to have a tough time of it, with a competitive 28-18 loss to Bloomfield nevertheless consigning the team one and half games below the Tigers outfit.
In the under 11s League Tag, the Magpies lost by 10 points to the Cyms Gold side, 36-26, over at St Pat's in Bathurst on the weekend, leaving them in second place at the end of the round.
The under 13s girls side went one better though, delivering a resounding 28-4 upset against St Pat's in a game that puts them firmly into finals equations ahead of a clash against Gulgong.
