The unique Brigidine Nun's Chapel, hidden in between the St Raphael's Church and the school hasn't been touched for more than 60 years.
The chapel was often used during the 1960s and 1970s for St Brigid's and St Raphael's School class Masses
Used rarely by the community and the school these days, the chapel is in need of an update and the Chapel restoration committee is working hard to put together in an application for funding to do just that.
The committee invites anyone interested in the project to attend a community meeting at the Chapel on Saturday morning, April 6 at 10.30 am to provide feedback and suggestions for inclusion in the application.
The Brigidine Nuns were the first educators in Cowra and they played a pivotal role in educating Cowra children for more than 100 years.
The Chapel, next to the original convent, was the Nun's private space and for many years it was out of bounds to parishioners and students.

In recent times it has been used for small masses and student events.
The St Raphael's Parish has decided to restore it for grander things such as weddings, christenings, musical events and meetings.
Parish Priest Laurie Beath said he would like to hear from people who remembered the Chapel and those who had interest in its restoration.
