Competition organiser Ross Sharkey said the inaugural race was an exciting new concept to the show.
“I would like to take the time to say thank you to the Cowra Show Society and organisers of this year’s Cowra Show,” he said.
“Such a brilliant event would not happen without the time, dedication and support of everyone involved.
“After hearing about lawn mower racing being held in other areas, it sounded like it was going to be a great addition to the Cowra Show and a great opportunity for the Cowra community to get involved and have fun,” he said.
Mr Sharkey thanked Cowra Motorcycles and Power Equipment, Cowra Custom Truck Painting, Cowra Mowing (Chris Roots), Lachlan River Produce and all the race entrants for their contribution and support in making the event such a success.
