The Australian men’s football team secured a 4-0 win over Czech Republic in an international friendly match.
The game was held at NV Arena in Sankt Pölten, Austria, on Friday night (AEST).
Australia led 1-0 at half time, courtesy of a Matthew Leckie goal in the 32nd minute.
The side then rocketed to victory in the second half with three unanswered goals.
Andrew Nabbout hit the back of the net in the 54th minute to help the Soceroos take a 2-0 lead.
Leckie then scored his double in the 72nd minute to guide Australia to a 3-0 advantage.
The 4-0 result was rounded out in the 80th minute via a Jakub Jugas own goal.
The Socceroos will play another international friendly against Hungary on June 10.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will begin on June 14.
