Cowra proved far too strong for the Bathurst-based club at Proctor Park, registering four goals in the first half before netting a further three after the break.
Thornberry starred along with Johanna Johensen who also kicked multiple goals.
The result was even more impressive due to the fact the side was slightly depleted with a few key players absent.
“They’re rolling along quite well,” ladies assistant coach Adam Gambrill said.
The result keeps Cowra undefeated in the 2018 ladies’ second grade.

The men weren’t as fortunate in the premier league match on Sunday afternoon, CSU White turning the screws and inflicting a 4-0 loss on the Eagles.
Gambrill, who is the coach of the men’s side, conceded that his side was under strength and were dealt further blows when injuries struck Shaun Mortyne and Lucas Hayes.
The students fired two goals in the opening half before extending the margin to four before the final whistle.
Gambrill said he was pleased with the effort.
“We created a lot of chances but we couldn’t capitalise. We were wasteful as opposed to them who were pretty clinical and took their chances.”
The ladies return to Edgell Park on Sunday and host Kinross Wolaroi while the men have the bye.
