After thirteen years of schooling and months of exam preparation, it was pens at the ready for Year 12 students at both Cowra High School and St Raphael’s who commenced their HSC on Monday morning.

First up, it was Standard English and Advanced English Paper 1, followed by Aural skills and Musicology for Music 1 and 2 students on Monday. Students today will sit Standard English Paper 2 and Advanced English Paper 2, with Primary Industries (VET) and Japanese Beginners in the afternoon.
Aboriginal Studies and Agriculture will be on Wednesday followed by Personal Development, Health and Physical Education on Thursday.
Modern History and Business Services (VET) round out the week on Friday, with language exams running throughout the week. Week Two will see students sit subjects such as Mathematics, History, Art and Hospitality.
The HSC will run until Tuesday, November 7, with students undertaking exams in Design and Technology and Drama being the lucky last students to finish their HSC.
