Working under the tutelage of leading Tasmania trainer Ben Yole, Crook was in the gig of Martys For Real in the Green Electrical Pace (1609m) at Hobart.
He provided Yole with the victory, as Martys For Real finished first ahead of Bobby Joe ($15) and Blisstar ($34) at a mile rate of 2:00.06.
It was the second of four victories for Yole that night.
Crook appeared in the gig of three other pacers.
He drove Shakti Bromac ($20) to second in the Luxbet Luxdiv Pace (2090m).
Elsewhere, Crook’s brother Luke Hooper scored a win at Young on Friday night with Mister Bee Ay.
Trained and driven by Hooper, Mister Bee Ay led the field in the Young Car Wash Pace (1720m).
They edged out race favourite Keep Quiet ($2.90) at a mile rate of 2:01.4.
It was Mister Bee Ay’s second career victory from 14 starts.
