While the green and golds thumped Grenfell by nine wickets at Henry Lawson Oval, Morongla experienced a loss of similar fashion in Cowra against Bowling Club resulting in Valleys promotion into the top four.
With two rounds remaining, Valleys hold a slim two point advantage on Morongla. On Saturday, Grenfell slumped to be all out for 54 before Valleys sealed the victory in the seventh over.
Openers Greg Garlick (23 not out) and Kane Schofield (18) steered Valleys to the nine-wicket win.
Jackson Moodie picked up seven wickets.
In Cowra, Morongla capitulated to be all out for 54 at Holman Oval against Bowly who chased the runs in 12 overs.
Charlie Johns (4-3) was the destroyer with the ball. At Oliver the Blues accounted for Canowindra by 58-runs. Blues scored 207 with Josh Platt (64) top scoring and restricted Canowindra to 7-149.
