Based at the McDonald’s kennels at Springside near Orange, Sheza Fusinon will have the advantage of the inside run when she launches from box one.
A three-year old bitch of 26 starts, Sheza Fusion has tasted success on three occasions but is yet to register victory at the Cowra track.
She’s won at the distance at Wagga and looms as one of the race’s major contenders.
Her kennelmate Noah’s Fusion will launch from box eight in the same event.
The Braddon team of husband Paul and wife Pamela feature Ellie May who has drawn alley six.
Ellie May is looking to boost her winning strike rate having recorded seven second placed finishes and one victory in her 20 start career.
The winner will pocket $500.
The 10 race program begins with three maiden events featuring a number of dogs making their first race appearances.
Cowra trainer Frank Jeffcoat will get his first look at Blue Pepper, a young bitch by Rocky Bale X Jane’s Blue Girl in the first race of the night, a Marks Pumps Maiden (453m). Racing starts from 7.30pm with the Brooks Beds R Us Stakes set for 9pm.
