The 2014 Men's Par Three Champion is Paul Jones, who took out the title with an impressive round of one-over-par 55, while the Ladies' Par Three Champion for 2014 is Cheryl McKeown.
Clive Wilson caused quite an uproar during the presentations, as he was awarded the B grade scratch trophy after a hot round of 62.
"Mr Golf," Noel Riley, scored a popular win in the A grade net section, just getting by Les Pinkerton by a third of a shot.
The B grade net was won by Col Ridding, with Peter McAlister finishing second, just one third of a shot behind.
The ladies net competition saw Barbara Proctor chalk up a win, while Helen Butler took home the runner's-up prize.
Cowra Subway Eat Fresh Nearest the Pin winners were: Cheryl McKeown, Ryan Howard, Paul Jones and Wally Webb.
Balls were won by: C.Wilson, N.Riley, L.Pinkerton, J.Brown, C.Ridding, P.McAlister, L.Ryan, P.Jones, R.Stretton, G.Clements, H.Tarrant and B.Amos.
Datavoice Communications Business House Golf
Cowra's most successful, relaxed and fun summer golf spectacle, the Datavoice Communications Business House Competition, continues today with the fourth round at the golf club.
It's not too late to get a crew together and come out and join in the fun.
Individual results for round 3: Winner; Aaron Denzel (19pts), Second; Darrin Johnston (19pts) and Third; Andrew Smith (16pts).
The leading team scores at the halfway mark of the season are:
Magpies (162pts), Oxley Wine Bar (158pts), Greylands Colts (152pts) Felix Poll Dorsets (107pts) A Team and Cowra Trophies (148pts).
Friday Night Bistro
Julie Smith's Cowra Golf Club Bistro is open Fridays from 6:30pm to 9:00 pm.
Julie's popular buffet meals cost just $12.50 and a Blackboard Menu features various specials for only $16.
All are invited to take advantage of the beautiful meals, while supporting one of Cowra's great assets, in the best, most family-friendly atmosphere in town.
The Friday Night Raffles and the bumper Member's Lucky Badge Draw ($1600!) are also held along with the "Putt For Cash".
Cowra Golf Shop News
As most will know by now, the Club's Resident Professional, Steve Cains will be leaving the club in January.
As such, any credit and ball credits held in the Cowra Golf Shop will need to be redeemed/collected prior to January 11 2015.
The Cowra Golf Shop's early Christmas Sale is continuing, with a huge number of never to be repeated bargains throughout the store; many clubs and bags are less than half price!
Tuesday Chook Run
The Chook Run continues each Tuesday.
It is a roll-up start, 9 hole comp conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The chook/voucher winners on November 18 were: Ken Harper, Ross Skene, Lester Black and John Webster.
Veterans Golf
There were 30 Vets who competed on the front nine last Thursday November 13 and Les Pinkerton chalked up a win with an impressive 20 points.
Chook/vouchers were won by; L.Pinkerton, J.Langfield, T.Wood, T.Winwood-Smith, D.Withers, D.Wentworth, P.Millard, B.Warner, R.Anderson and N.Riley.
Junior Golf
Steve Cains' Sunday Junior Golf will be on this Sunday 9:00am until 10:30am.
All youngsters interested in trying our great game and learning a skill for life are most welcome.
Sunday 11-hole Social Competition
At just $13 per player, the Sunday 11 hole competition is still the cheapest, easiest and best way to get into golf.
It is called a "competition," but you don't need to be good at golf, generous handicaps are applied, and you don't need to be a member of the club.

Dress Regulations
ALL golfers are reminded that t-shirts without collars, tracksuit pants, dirty work clothes/boots, footy clothing etc. are NOT acceptable on the Cowra Golf Course at ANY time, whether it be for competition play, social golf, or just a bit of practice.
