Apology was sent from Morongla Branch. After the National Anthem and Motto a minute's silence was held for members and family including Denise Pearson from Morongla Branch whose father recently passed away

Eugowra Branch is having a Fashion Parade and book signing with Fr Chris Riley on September 20th, $20 RSVP 13th to Wendy 68595221. Branch Treasurers Day is being organized by Group Treasurer, Nicola Mitten for 4th September 1-6PM. at Young CWA Rooms.

Cowra Evening lodged a very impressive submission to Head Office in anticipation of holding 2116 State Conference in Cowra on behalf of SWG
Preparations are underway for our Group Conference at Boorowa on 20th October, commencing at 9:30AM at the Services Club. RSVP and $20 cost to Treasurer Nicola by 13th October.
President Jenny Thompson reported on her recent CWA activities, the shop is going well and reminded all reports are due in September. Branch Office Bearers form F1-1-708 to Head Office by 31st October/
The Executive Representative, Linda Willding reported $1200 in foreign coins and $2000 to Pennies for Friendship has been collected. Feedback from the State Conference was very positive. The ACWW South Pacific Area Conference in Dubbo is coming up quickly, from 31st August to 4th September.
In the absence of International Officer, Tammy Cameron, Secretary Carmen Gordon read the report which included a "thank you" to all for the success of the CWA Day in Grenfell. She has received applications ACWW Membership. ACWW is working world wide to stamp out slavery and bullying. Books and reports to Tammy by 15th September.
Handicraft Officer, Leona Steen reminded about 17th & 18th September workshops on teddy bear and jewelry making contact her 63421572 for details. Leona reported on coming events for 2015: A potholder will be the open article for Handicraft Day. Tea cosies is the group project.
Cultural Officer, Meryl Lees reminded us of her table arrangement for the group Conference, themed in black and white, no larger than the size of a dinner plate and no higher than 20cm. Meryl also read an article on "How to Tenderize Your Husband" which caused great chuckles. Cultural Books and reports to Meryl by 30th September.
Margie Ryan, Publicity Officer reported on the co-operation of the local papers, reminded members to look at our Facebook page and once an email is out it is no longer confidential, She suggested we all read President Tanya's Blog
Cookery Officer, Norma Power urged all to become involved in next year's Land Cookery Day. Reports in by 15th September
Cowra Evening branch will host and cater for our last meeting for 2014 and Christmas party at the Presbyterian Hall in Cowra on December 1st. A prize will be awarded for the best Christmas outfit.
