It will be the 'Easter Break' and the Fishing Club will host an 'Open Waters Comp' to work in with the extra couple days off.
Our weigh-in will be on Monday 21st at 3.00pm now that daylight savings has finished.
There are certainly a few club families travelling away for the break so we may see mixed bag at weigh-in. Good luck to everyone!
Secondly, the following weekend 25th, 26th & 27th will be the 'Anzac Shield' hosted by the Wyangala Fishing Club.
This year we will also see the inclusion of the Australian Hotel Fishing Club and also a new starting time of 12.00pm Friday.
The Wyangala Fishing Club is also pushing for 'Catch & Release' especially of any large Murray Cod or Yellowbelly. So please take your camera and DPI Brag Mats.
If you are interested in fishing for the 'Anzac Shield' we need to know numbers for catering purposes.
So if you are interested could either contact Tones Graham 0428 414908 or myself, Ian trethewey 0427 426661 and let us know numbers asap.
It has always been a well contested competition so hopefully this year we can come home with some 'Shields'!
Our last Competition was very quiet with only a few kids weighing in fish.
Ben Howarth was lucky enough to do a clean sweep with heaviest native (Y/Belly 1.266kg) and heaviest bag. Well done Ben!
