On Tuesday 17 June, Mayor Brian Ingram, along with several Councillors, attended the Young Medicare Mental Health Centre Open Day.
The event welcomed key representatives from local services, groups, and organisations for an inside look at the vital work being done to support mental health and wellbeing in our community.
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the space, meet the dedicated staff, and learn more about the range of supports offered — including ongoing mental health services, navigation of the wider support system, and drug and alcohol assistance.
Thank you to the team for their commitment to improving community health outcomes, providing accessible, compassionate care to those who need it most and for hosting such an important and informative event.
