The entries are in, the programs are out: the annual Forbes eisteddfod is just a week away.
Town Hall doors open on Wednesday 18 June to launch the first stage of competition in music, speech, drama and more.
School students from across our region will take the stage in the opening mornings, with choirs, choral speech and percussion sections.
Wednesday afternoon and evening will feature our talented piano soloists, with public speaking, speech and drama scheduled for Friday afternoon.
Disney, musical theatre, jazz, and classical are just some of the styles vocalists will perform on Saturday 20 June, the morning session starting at 10am, while instrumentalists take the stage from 10am Sunday 21 June.

Sunday afternoon sees our bands take over Town Hall with Forbes Town and District band, Parkes shire concert Band and City of Orange Brass band all entered in the session scheduled to start at 4pm.
The entertainment solo or group should also be a good section to watch that afternoon.
