With a Jake Veney hat trick in his 100th game for the Club, the Cherrypickers sealed a very convincing 44-10 win against the Albury Thunder at Alfred Oval on Saturday.
Honouring the ANZACs the Cherrypickers welcomed Captain Phil Mitchell and Liz Boland on the bugle with the players and club paying tribute to the special weekend.
"An honour to pay our respects to our Anzac veterans today," the Club said.
"And the Pickers really appreciate having you share it with us."
Despite digging deep the Reserve Grade side just missed out on the win over Albury going down 12-22.

The League Tag ladies were glad to be back on their home turf at Alfred Oval, however the Thunder were too good for the girls who missed out 8-16.
Under 16s players Talia McKay and Bree Caldwell made their debut for the League Tag side stepping up from the juniors, well played ladies.
The Under 18s kicked off the day for the Pickers with a huge win over the Thunder 52-18.
