The Canowindra Show Society is now welcoming new and returning members for 2025 – and there's never been a better time to get involved.
Whether you're passionate about agriculture, local events, community spirit, or just want to lend a hand, joining the Show Society gives you the chance to support and shape one of Canowindra’s most celebrated annual events.
“The Show Society movement offers something for everyone – from hands-on volunteering to personal development and lifelong friendships,” says Rianna Reeves, the 2024 Canowindra Show Young Woman winner.
Jacob Moriarty, President of the Canowindra Show Society and 2025 RAS Rural Achiever Finalist, encourages everyone in the community to consider becoming a member.
“The success of the Canowindra Show relies on the passion and involvement of our community. Whether you're helping set up, sharing ideas, or simply showing your support by becoming a member, it all makes a difference," he said.

Membership not only gives you a say in how the show is run—it also directly supports the event itself. Funds raised through memberships go straight back into the running of the show: maintaining infrastructure, booking entertainment, providing prizes and ribbons, and creating a great experience for the entire community.
As a member of the Canowindra Show Society, you’ll receive:
• Free entry to the show for yourself, one associate, and any school-aged children
• Voting rights at the Annual General Meeting
• Invitations to meetings and social events throughout the year
