Bonsley chalked up his first victory and showed huge promise in just his second outing, thundering home under Greg Ryan in the day’s maiden plate (1250m).
He looked in great condition fresh off a 900m trial in Canberra on July 14, as he reeled in race leader Kenneth ($3.50) down the home straight.
The two front runners separated their challengers leaving daylight between them and Demonize ($13), who ran third about four lengths back.
Bonsley found support firming from $2.30 to $2.10.
It marked Lynch’s first triumph since November last year.
He had three runners at Warren, also Tinmine and Strada Glo, and walked away with a first, fourth and 10th.
