Sid Kallas Oval played host for Cowra’s 5th Relay for Life event in March this year with the Cowra event providing a fun filled experience for the whole family with a festive team atmosphere full of games, activities and entertainment that the whole family could enjoy.
Event coordinator Ricky Puata said despite falling just short of their fundraising goals the community is happy with their efforts and has shown a determination to work together to beat their goal next year.
“This incredible collective effort ensures that we can continue to support Cowra and the surrounding districts’ families through their cancer journey,” Ms Puata said.
“Funds like this make an incredible difference in the local community and allows The Cancer Council NSW to provide a range of health programs.”
