McNaught has opened the bowling in each of the qualifying games and hopes to get thrown the new ball again.
“It would be really good, hopefully I get the opportunity,” McNaught said.
“I’ve opened the bowling in the previous games, it’d be great to do it again this Sunday.”
The Orana Outlaws accounted for the Central West Wranglers and South West Crew on its way to the SCG finals.
On Sunday the Outlaws face off against the Wagga Wagga Sloggers at 10am in the semi-final. At 2pm Newcastle Blasters and Northern Rivers Rock do battle with the respective winners meeting in the decider under lights.
“With the second game being played under lights, that’s extra incentive,” McNaught said.
“I think we could easily take it out if we play to our potential. It’s just a matter of doing it on the day.”
