Project officers from the partnership engaged the students in a “biodiversity” of educational fun including; Waterbug investigations, Squirrel Glider paper-plane competitions, Bee hotel construction, Cultural journeys and Feral Vs Native detective work.
“Cowra Public was honoured to have several local Wiradjuri elders in attendance and assisting with the lessons. It was a great day out for the children who were bursting with questions all day,” Assistant Principal, Kathryn MacNamara said.
The children finished with lunch and a greater knowledge of the environment.
