Great to see our most recent World Championships participant Sally Wallace back to Friday night racing.
Family ties are strong in the kids course with the Fagan sisters and McGill brothers continuing their top form .
Friday, November 18 saw Henry Fagan and Jo Roberts push each other in a fast paced race right to the end.
Susan Callaghan continues to inspire with a personal best in the one lapper.
The two lapper saw John Sullivan continuing to impress, coming out on top .
Numbers were lower than usual on November 25 due to a clash with St Raphael’s Fair and families away at School Spec.
In spite of strong winds there were still numerous personal bests to be celebrated.
It is always super impressive to see athletes improve each week against previous times and it is what makes Friday night racing so special.
Andrew Fisher took out two lapper and the Foxall family took out wins in both the novice course and the one lapper.
Ben Price continues to be an awesome role model, stopping mid race recently to put his sisters chain back on.
Nice work Ben, what a beautiful show of sportsmanship that is paramount here at the club.
This anonymous quote couldn’t be more fitting, “sports do not build character, they reveal it.”
Good luck to the Cowra club members travelling to Kurnell this week for race three of the world championship qualifiers.
Don’t forget Dubbo Interclub next week. Details will appear on our facebook page over the coming days. A big turnout would be pleasing.
See you tonight.
