There were delicious home baked cakes, biscuits and jams.
Plants grown by member Barbara Hitchins sold well.
There were lavender bunches and geranium sprigs, fresh salad greens and generous size lemons.
Each year the money raised from this Street Stall funds Citizenship Prizes at five local Cowra schools.
Funds are also directed to the local charities of Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul.
The Giant Hamper raffle was won by A Holloway with white Ticket V12.
The winner thanked all the members for donating so many treats and interesting items. ‘so many yummy things!!’
The next meeting of this ‘fun and friendship club ‘will be a Christmas Luncheon on November 14.
The meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Room next to Cowra Library.
The tables will be adorned with Christmas décor and members will add some Christmas accessory to their attire.
It will be a festive self-catering luncheon with chicken pieces and quiches, deserts and Cadbury chocolates.
The chocolates have been donated by A50 District Chairman Lesley Carter.
Lesley had made her official visit to Cowra last month.
District Chairman Lesley spoke to the members of how important friendship was and how she had been able to make friends despite her dad’s career moves causing her to change schools very many times.
Lesley joined Inner Wheel which is one of the largest Women’s Voluntary organisations in the world.
It consists of women working together to make a difference and improve lives.
Active Membership may taken up by the following provided that they are over 18 years:
