Even though Bilyara was in lock down due to influenza the the hostel’s Activities Officer Vanessa Warren ensured the residents were still having fun and enjoying life.
Due to the lock down some residents were disappointed that the hair dresser was unable to visit this week for their regular hair cut.
To make up for the fact the hairdresser was unable to visit Ms Warren decided to host a fun in house hairdressing morning with a bit of hair chalk to lift the residents spirits.
One resident Joan Gay even enjoyed giving Ms Warren some pink highlights of her own.
Ms Warren said that the staff and residents at Bilyara were remaining positive.
“At Bilyara we are committed to providing our residents with a caring and stimulating environment even in challenging times,” she said.
