Young Dressage Association has held another highly successful event, with the completion of the Donges Supa IGA Regional Festival Series Dressage Championships at the Bendick Murrell recreation sports grounds, last Friday April 22 to Sunday, April 24.

Over 200 horses and riders, including Olympic level competitors, from all over New South Wales and Victoria rode in the prestigious event to contend for over $30,000 worth of prizes.
The event was opened by Katrina Hodgkinson MP on Saturday where she also presented a number of awards to riders.
Despite the large number of riders attending from far and wide, the local contingent represented the club proudly.
Sue Walker riding Abercrombie Regal Heir placed first in the 1.1 Pony class and first in the 3.3 and 2.3 on Fendi R.
Megan Bryant riding Bliss Grande Rouge, owned by Stasi Grosvenor, won the CU Preliminary Champion, first place in the Inter A on Mr Jackson, first and second in the Prix Caprilli, plus numerous other placings throughout the event.
Other successful local placegetters included Claudia Kimber, Vicki Wilder, Kim Lang, Maryann Schiller, Kerri Matthews and Julie Vandyke.
