Cowra's womens rugby team are gearing up for a massive 2016 with seven players set to represent Central West at the Country Championships this weekend in Tamworth.

Led by Inge Visser, the Eagles contingent is made up of Betty Doolan, Michelle Miller, Louise Miller, Sheree Logan, Tarcia Skinner and, taking huge strides in her debut year, Tanielle Michael.
Central West begin their campaign at 9am tomorrow against Central North before games against Illawarra, New England and Hunter at 11am, 1pm and 3pm respectively.
All games will be played at the Magpies Rugby Club at Tamworth.
The competition offers Cowra's representatives a great opportunity to kickstart their year before the regular season begins on May 14 when they host the Bathurst Bulldogs, who are new to the ladies Central West competition in 2016.
The Eagles will also be unveiling their new jerseys for the clash.
