One of our teams was lucky enough to come away with the win on the day.

I'm sure all the boys celebrated well into the night after their big win.
Sunday Super 9 competition starting Sunday, March 6.
This is a new initiative to the Cowra Golf Club for time conscious people who want to have a game of golf in a relaxed and casual manner. Each Sunday will see a 9-hole competition played a varying formats followed by a barbecue and a presentation to the winners each week. This competition is open to everyone regardless of golfing ability or the need for a handicap. It is a relaxed fun way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday morning having a hit and giggle at the Cowra Golf Club.
The club is also introducing a Sunday only golf membership for those that are too busy or have commitments and can't be here more than the one day a week.
For $99 you will be able to play golf each Sunday and you will also be a social member of the club meaning you can use the clubhouse anytime without the need to sign in.
If you are thinking about giving golf a go then this might be just what you are looking for.
Contact the Pro Shop on 6342 1211 for more information about this and our other membership and golfing options.
Saturday the Cowra golf club held its February Monthly Medal Sponsored by Graeme Clements and David Thomas.
A very big thank you to both these guys for your ongoing support as well as Chris Walsh Financial for sponsoring the person who racked up the largest amount on the day and finally Mr Tim Bagz Brady for sponsoring the person who spent most their time just trying to tap it in.
After a busy Friday night with the Datavoice communications Business house event kicking off, we had a great field of 77 players.
Being a stroke event, I'm sure everyone loved the challenge that was ahead of them with a few tight pin placements, some tees back and having to count all your shots as well as putts.
One of the stand outs of the day would have to go to Jim McNaught who rang up to book a time and an hour or so later was out on the course.
The preparation must have worked well with Jim playing one of his best rounds - a 70 (-1) off the stick with a 63 nett.
Well done and we look forward to seeing you do the same thing next week.
Also, on a very hot streak is Craig Jeffries.
He got sick of playing in C grade and has now upset everyone in B grade coming in with a 69 Nett, just nudging out Kim Reid who also had a 69 Nett, best putts for the day with the new Wilson putter he bought before he teed off and the best Scratch score for B Grade with 82.
Love your work guys.
Lastly, Wayne Rodwell came in wearing his new Cowra shirt and has now won another one.
He has played for a while and the break must have done him some good coming in with a 67 Nett.
Well done to all our winners.

With both of the top two in team CMP Workshop they have run away to a smart lead after the first round.
