The team was away for two weeks.
"We had some great opportunities to visit some of the children's home's and meet with their parents or caregivers," Ps Graeme from ALC Blayney said.
"It's always an eye opener to see how these families live and the struggles they face."
A highlight was when Ps Malcom and Maureen Knight from ALC Cowra met their sponsor child Brian and his family and spent some time at his home.
Whilst in Uganda, the team visited the children's schools, their families, the local hospital and an orphanage helping out wherever they could.
"This was our third trip to this region and it is so encouraging to see the difference our sponsorship and connection has made.
The children now have access to school (fees are paid), health care and ongoing family connection with both Compassion staff & the local church" said Ps Graeme
"We have now identified some pressing the local needs that we are looking at assisting with and our aim is to continue in building lasting relationships with our friends in Uganda."
