Book, 21, of Victor Street Cowra was charged by police following the death of his passenger Christopher Patterson at an accident in North Logan Road at Cowra on April 26, 2013.
At the time of the accident that killed the passenger, Book was driving while disqualified and was also driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
He was also charged with driving in a manner dangerous.
As the charges carry potential prison terms the case is being handled by Michael Fahy, solicitor representing the Department of Public Prosecutions.
Mr Fahy told Orange Local Court on Monday the brief of evidence has now been served on the defendant saying an agreement had been reached by both the prosecution and the defence surrounding some facts in the case.
Book’s case will be before the court early next month for a reply to the brief of evidence.
