Our school was one of three schools in the Central West selected for the visit.
Our Stage three team has performed well in the last couple of years, making it on from the Cowra Gala Day to the finals day held in Orange.
We have gone close a couple of times to making it on to Sydney to play at a Waratah's match. Maybe next year!
The trophy itself is quite impressive, weighing just under 19 kilograms.
It was lucky that "Tah Man" was on hand to hold it aloft.
Sam and Lachlan also spoke about the upcoming changes to the competition in the next couple of years.
Every child went away with a signed Waratah's poster.
We thank NSW Rugby union for sending the Premiership Trophy out to Cowra for the Rugby enthusiasts to see.
