Amy's latest cricketing highlight is recently being named in the Country womens team -for consecutive years- to take on City in the annual Lorna Thomas Trophy series.
This years series consists of three Twenty20 matches which City won the first of on Sunday September 14 at Blacktown International Sportspark.
Despite losing the match Amy had the opportunity to play alongside Australian representatives Erin Osbourne and Alex Blackwell while playing against Alyssa Healy and Sarah Coyte.
"I played in the same game last year as well, but it was very good to have the Australian girls on my team and playing against me," Amy said of matching up with the National cricketers.
Not only is Amy applying her trade in the outdoor version of cricket, she has also recently represented New South Wales in the Indoor National Championships.
During July this year she played a vital role in the victorious New South Wales indoor cricket in Victoria.
New South Wales beat Queensland in a close final and due to her standout performances Amy was selected in the Australian team to participate at the World Titles from October 13-26 in New Zealand.
"It was very good [representing the NSW indoor team at a senior level], the final was close but we managed to get the win," she said.
Despite playing the two different forms of the game Amy said she manages to adapt by just concentrating on the different type of ball used.
"It's a little bit different," she admitted.
"Adjusting to the ball is the main thing, it's softer in indoor and swings a lot more."
In her first year of representing New South Wales at a senior level in indoor cricket it is a massive achievement to be named in the Australian team and Amy said she absolutely cannot wait for the World Titles next month.
For Amy's Country team, who are the current holders of the Lorna Thomas Trophy, they must now win at Port Macquarie on October 4 to keep any hopes of retaining the trophy alive.
Due to winning July's Cowra Sportspower Sportsperson of the Month, Amy won a dinner for two at the Cowra Sevices Club and goes into the running to be named Cowra's Sportspower Sportsperson of the Year in July 2015.
