With the assistance from the Office of Women, Family and Community Services, Local Domestic Violence Committee funding, the Network are seeking to spread the information about services to all different groups in the community.
David Oliver from the Imperial Hotel is one of the publicans willing to support the cause.
"We are extremely keen to support this very important cause...I guess sometimes as venue owners we forget just how big of a part we play in setting a particular standard with the community.
"These coasters provide a strong visual reminder that Domestic and Family Violence is completely unacceptable in Cowra and that's a good thing," Mr Oliver said.
The coasters will assist with letting people know just how common D &FV is in Australia - 1 in 3 Australian Women will experience some form of relationship violence in their life time and this is just too many.
Domestic and family violence can take many forms - physical, sexual, financial, cultural, spiritual or mental.
All of these are against the Law.
Information about where to get help locally is also included on the coaster. Whether their presence in the pubs and clubs act as conversation starters or if people take them home to keep the phone numbers, either way, the Cowra D&FV Network hopes the coasters are just another way of keeping these serious issues in the forefront of the community's mind.
Look out for the new coasters featuring art work by Cowra High Students who participated in the 2013 Lovebites program - an annually run, nationally acclaimed education program that teaches young people about the nature and impact of Domestic violence and how to be respectful in negotiating relationships. Health, Headspace, Court Support, Police and Centrelink workers again ran the Lovebites program this month.
