Everybody is more than welcome to attend, remembering the men and women who gave their lives in Vietnam and other countries, and also to meet up with mates who are still living.
Vietnam veterans meet all over Australia on this day. In the past many of our vets travel from Cowra to other towns and cities to meet up with mates, as we will have people coming from surrounding towns to celebrate this service with us.
Our president Frank Bridges along with Captain Louise Beamish, Cowra RSL chaplain, will conduct the service.
It is understood Ian Ousby (Cowra) will play the bagpipes while the wreaths are laid.
During the course of our ceremony Frank will recognise men and women who also served in Malaya, Korea and UN Forces, reservists, and the current serving members overseas today.
The service will conclude with the ceremonial folding of the Australian national flag.
