The exhibition is the first the local artists have headlined, displaying a collection of paintings celebrating colour and the positive emotions it brings.
Ms Nottingham, who has painted her whole life, said she is influenced by a love of vintage and nature.
“My work is inspired by a love of retro, op-shopping, travel, the beautiful landscape we live in,” she said.
“Photography and art are key to my sense of self and well-being. They are an integral part of my life.”
She has started rare pear, a venture allowing her to produce art and other handmade products, after exhibiting work at regional galleries, shows and competitions.
“rare pear is the opportunity to indulge in my love of watercolour, collage, sewing, and experimenting. I am constantly having new ideas for various works, ranging from jewellery to mixed media painting.”
Ms Cook is a self-taught artist whose work has been exhibited in local galleries since 2002.
She paints using acrylics, gouache, oils and watercolours, and runs her own art business, JaZz DeZiGnS.
“My aim as an artist is to spread the happiness I have from creating a work to those who choose to hang it in their home,” she said.
