Cowra Harness Racing meeting last weekend was a resounding success and now all eyes will focus on the Family Fun Day is on this weekend Sunday September 15 at the Cowra Harness Racing Club. Gates open at 11:30am with market stalls and live entertainment by the acclaimed Shane Kerr.

"We had a good turn out and great racing last weekend and no doubt this weekend will be the same," said Jack Wade of Cowra Harness Racing.

"There will be full TAB as well as food and bar facilities," said Jack.

"There'll also be an eight race program featuring two major cup races on the day.

"Events will commence after each harness race and presentation has been completed."

There's plenty for the kids including face-painting and jumping castles and an array of raffles, games and prizes.

"We hope to see you all there!"

11:30am - Gates Open

11:45am - All Dogs for Dachshund Races to be signed in at Secretaries Office. Mini Trot Race 1 (on race track)

12:30pm - Dachshund Heat 1 (sponsored by JD Welding Cowra). Races will be behind the Rotary Canteen. All entries for Best Dressed Dachshund and Owner to be nominated by this time at Secretaries Office.

1:12pm - Race 1 (Harness). Miss and Master Mini, Tiny Tots and Junior (near Presentation area)

1:49pm - Race 2 (Harness). Dachshund Heat 2 (sponsored by Tupperware with Toni)

2:24pm - Race 3 (Harness). Best Dressed Dachshund and Owner. Mini Trot Race 3.

2:55pm - Race 4 (Harness). Dachshund Heat 3 (sponsored by Beecher Wool services).

3:33pm - Race 5 (Harness). Mini Trot Race 4 and presentation.

4:10pm - Race 6 (Harness). Raffle draw plus Best Supported Trainer of Cowra Harness Racing Club.

4:49pm - Race 7 (Harness). Dachshund final (sponsored by Cowra Motors).

5:25pm - Race 8 (Harness).
