Eugowra Eagles home in final Woodbridge Cup round

Eugowra's Golden Eagles kick off the final round of the regular Woodbridge Cup season at home this Sunday.

Eugowra hosts Molong and the day kicks off with the league tag scheduled for 12.40pm.

The Geagles hold fourth place on the ladder after back-to-back wins against Oberon Tigers and Trundle Boomers in Rounds 13 and 14.

The competition's top three teams have a strong hold with Manildra on 28 points, Cargo and Cowra on 26 each and Eugowra on 19.

Sunday's first grade fixture is scheduled for 2pm.

Heading into Round 15, the Eagles are 10th on the Woodbridge Cup ladder.

Competition leaders are Oberon Tigers with 26 points, two points ahead of Manildra Rhinos with Cowra Eagles in third with 22 points.

Canowindra Tigers, Orange United Warriors and Trundle Boomers sit fourth, fifth and sixth all with 18 points.

Peak Hill Roosters and Molong Bulls round out the top eight with 15 points each heading into this final round, with Condobolin just ahead of Eugowra with the 14 points.
