Both rounds one and two were played last Saturday after rain delayed the start of the competition.
In their first game, the visitors faced off against the Valleys' B Grade side.
The home side elected to bat first and got off to a flyer with captain Kane Schofield slogging 40 before being caught by Bailey Edwards off the bowling of Riley Cartwright.
The skipper's stint in the middle was the only highlight of the Valleys' innings, with Caleb Worth, Tom Lamond, Zac Olbourne and Al Lovett all dismissed for a duck.
Cartwright proved deadly with ball in handing, taking 3/13.
Bowling Club's B Grade side also opened their account in round one, getting the win over Morongla.
An aggressive bowling line up sent Morongla packing for 57.
Despite a few wickets along the way, Bowling Club managed to chase the total and take the win 5/59 in the 14th over.
Grenfell didn't let the afternoon heat baring down on Oliver Oval get to them when round two kicked off only hours later, making easy work of Bowling Club.
Batting first, things dire for the visitors with Charlie Mitton (3) sent thanks to an LBW courtesy of Blair Holgate.
Holgate proved the best of the bowlers, taking 2/18.
Bailey Edwards continued his fine form and steadied the ship with 46 runs before he was caught off the bowling of Drew Willis (2/21).
Jaxon Greenaway (19 not out) and Ky O'Byrne (15 not out) helped Grenfell post a healthy total of 113 after 20 overs.
After an impressive performance with the ball, Holgate (31) got Bowling Club off to the perfect start with the bat.
In an almost mirror image of their round one clash, Grenfell then sent Simon Ryan and Charlie Johns for ducks.
Willis, Ben Eltham and Sam Hampton were also unable to get off the mark.
In the end, cheap wickets cost Bowling Club, who finished on 9/67.
Morongla picked up their first win of the Shield in a close contest with Valleys.
F Bennett (16) and L Beale (10) were the best of the batting line up for Morongla, who were sent into the middle first.
The side benefited off 22 extras, which brought the side's total to 7/78 at the end of 20 overs.
Troy Hayes was top bowler with 2/16.
It was a rough start in reply for Valleys, with P Harry dismissed for a duck and Olbourne (4) and Lewis McFarland (3) gone for single digits.
Lamond brought some stability, scoring 13 runs but the total proved too much for the green and gold, all out for 77.
Round three will see Valleys take on Bowling Club while Grenfell faces off against Morongla.
