As part of our regular "Business Faces of Cowra" series, the Cowra Guardian had a chat to Anna about a typical day in the office or the salon, plans in the future and her love of reality TV.
What is your role, how long have you been in the position and how did you get into the industry?
I was lucky enough to be given my role as CA (chiropractic assistant) by Adam Wild.
I was coming back from overseas and he offered me the position.
My role has changed over the past almost five years from CA to practice manager to Administration Officer for Chiropractic Life Corporate Services.
You have also been a part of the Skin & Beauty Emporium team for a long time. How do you juggle your two roles?
I work at the Skin & Beauty Emporium on a Saturday, it's not really a juggling act.
I'm lucky that I work with an awesome group of women, we have amazing clients and that makes it easy, so it doesn't feel like work.
Describe a typical work day.
It can be anything from ordering stock for the Chiropractic Life practices, overseeing our Central West practices, working as a CA, onboarding new employees or just general admin.
No day is the same, it's never boring!
How valuable is the team around you at Chiropractic Life to the success of the business?
We have a great team in the Central West, they are so caring and great at their jobs which makes our practice members feel at ease when they are visiting our practice.
These guys are key for the practice being as successful as it is!
I am also lucky to work with a brilliant group of people in Corporate Services, we oversee the running of the practices Australia wide.
We have our roles, strengths and different personalities, but we all mesh really well.
If we didn't have the team we have, I don't think we would be reaching the goals we are.
How about the team at Skin & Beauty Emporium?
We all work together well. We love what we do and that is so valuable to us as a team and the business.
Without naming names, are there any clients that stand out or are memorable?
There are too many to think of!
Does Chiropractic Life have any big plans in the near future or are you more focused on just getting back on with things after COVID?
Yes! We will be expanding the practice and moving to a bigger location hopefully sometime in the next 12 months.
And finally, can you tell us a couple of things people may not know about you?
I really enjoy cooking. I have dual citizenship of Australia and United Kingdom and I like American reality TV way too much (Kardashians, Real Housewives).
