With the hint that summer had arrived and with no sign of rain, a field of 32 Veteran golfers hit off from the first tee at Cowra Golf Club to play their nine hole stableford event.

The golf course continues to be presented in an ideal condition but with players having found the prevailing summer temperature of 28c degrees later in their round, challenging.
Alan Luff who is a real pier of the Veterans committee, played very good golf to be the clear winner for the day with 21 stableford points, followed by James Paton with 19 points. Both Alan Luff and James Paton going on and taking first and second prizes in the Pro Comp 18 hole event.

There were eight prize winners who are listed with their stableford score and the 18 hole handicap they played off in brackets.

The prize winners will have their Veteran's Handicap reduced by 3, other entrants will have their handicap increased by one.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2021
The Veterans will play a 14 hole two person best ball stableford event to mark the end of this year's activities followed by a lunch and presentation of the annual awards.
Veteran nine hole stableford events will continue to be held each week through to the end of January 2022 but without attaching any points to the annual points score, which will commence on Thursday, February 3, 2022, and run through to the end of November 2022,
COWRA PRO COMP- 18 HOLE STABLEFORD EVENT:
The Cowra Golf Club's Golf Professional, Tom Perfect's, 18 hole stableford competition, open to all ages and run concurrently with the Veterans events. There were 30 starters, with Alan Luff the clear winner with an impressive score of 41 points.
1st Alan Luff 41 stableford points.
