Sydney SuperNight marked the final of four back-to-back weekends of racing, with the Red Bull Ampol Racing Team also taking out the team championship for the 2021 Repco Supercars series.
Over the three-day event, Patrick joined the pit crew on the tools, learning how to set up the cars for race days while working with the Red Bull Ampol team and drivers, Shane van Gisbergen and Jamie Whincup.
Patrick said he was grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime experience and thanked New Holland and the Red Bull Ampol racing team.
"The atmosphere at Sydney SuperNight was exhilarating and meeting and working with the Red Bull Ampol racing team was a moment I will never forget," Patrick said.
"Not only did I share in the excitement of the race win with the team, I also learnt first-hand how quickly the pit crews work to get the drivers back on the track. The precision at which they operate at is what I look forward to taking it back to my team at the workshop in Cowra.

"The knowledge and experience I've gained working on New Holland machinery at Cowra Machinery Centre, part of AEH Group, and during my time in TAFE has definitely assisted me this weekend. My aim is to get a piece of machinery up and running for a farmer as efficiently as possible. Getting them back out on the farm with minimal downtime is one key learning I'll take away from this experience."
Patrick's experience with the Red Bull Ampol racing team does not end at Sydney SuperNight.
In 2022, Patrick will have the opportunity to visit the Triple Eight Racing HQ in Banyo, Queensland.
"Participating in Sydney SuperNight will be hard to top, but I'm excited to have the opportunity to visit Triple Eight HQ to work with the legendary racing team and learn how they keep the cars operational. I can't thank AEH and New Holland enough for this amazing opportunity," Patrick said.
"I'm keeping an open mind to the possibilities of connecting my work on the Supercars to my work on high-powered agricultural machinery."
Patrick, 22, was awarded New Holland's Apprentice of the Year for 2021 and was selected as part of a competition and training program run across New Holland Agriculture's network of 94 Australian dealerships.
